2024 Course Programme

OUR 2024 COURSES ARE NOW AVAILABLE TO BOOK.

In response to feedback and as part of a wider review we have revised our course programme for this year. We are developing a package of courses comprising a one-day introduction to cladding and façade systems which is supplemented by a series of one and half day courses covering specific issues in greater detail. This will replace both the 2-day Managing the cladding package (MTCP) course and the 4-day Curtain wall design and construction (CWDC) course. Although these new courses are designed to provide a comprehensive package, each course is a stand-alone element and can be taken individually allowing greater flexibility for participants to decide on the extent of information they require.

A further change for this year is the introduction of assessment following each course.  Again, this is in response to feedback and increased requirements to demonstrate competency.  Delegates will be required to pass the assessment in order to receive a CPD certificate.  Further details of the assessment can be found in the course descriptions.

Presentations are pre-recorded and will be available for a limited period of time (typically four weeks from a given start date). A discussion board will be available for delegates to ask any questions during the time that the recorded presentations are available.  A PDF handout of the presentations will also be available to download.  

After booking a place on a course, delegates will be sent a link to our online course platform, which is called Thinkific, where they will need to create an account.  This email will come from Thinkific.com - please check your spam folder if it doesn’t appear in your inbox.  Accounts must be created in the name of the delegate.  If a delegate books places on multiple courses, they will all be available via the same account.  

• If you wish to book a place on a course on behalf of a delegate, please enter the delegate’s name and email address during the booking process. They will then receive all the joining information.

• If you wish to book multiple places on a course, please do so by purchasing the required number of vouchers for the relevant course.  When you do this, you will be sent a code that you can share with the delegates allowing them to book individual places on the specific course.  Please CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE COURSE SPACES IN BULK 

• Bookings are on an individual basis.  Please do not share presentations or your account details with anyone else.  Please note that a CPD Certificate will only be issued to the named delegate. 

• CWCT Members receive a discount for all our courses. To access your discount, please log into the Cladding Forum with your organisation passcode and follow instructions shown there.

On the course start date, the presentations will be available via the account created.  You should try to access the presentations as soon as possible after the start date and report any problems as soon as possible.  Please note that the presentations are intended to be viewed in the order given, and some may refer to preceding presentations.
